All of our auctions use the 3 Minute Rule: if someone places a bid on an item before the scheduled closing time, the item’s auction (NOT the whole auction!) is automatically extended until there have been no bids placed.
Remember to keep refreshing your page if you are watching items closing. If no one bids three minutes before closing, the item will then automatically close. This means that the bidding on a single item can continue as long as people keep the 3 minute rule open.

The purpose for the 3 Minute Rule is to prevent sniping and offer all users the opportunity to bid.
